Introdction placeholder text. In response to growing concerns about the limitations of traditional CompStat and its potential to do so much more, the Vera Institute of Justice and the Police Foundation are partnering to reimagine how CompStat can best serve as a comprehensive performance management tool. Our work began in 2016 with criminal justice researchers and practitioners conceptualizing what a new model could look like, based on what we have learned since CompStat’s founding in 1994.
